From now on I will no longer be taking requests anymore. But this does not mean that I will never do art for people again. Instead I will be doing things my own way and without following any order or schedule. Although I now have no more rules, I do have some information for people who may want me to make art for them. So this will now be a guide to what kind of work I'll make, who I might make it for and when I will do it.
General information:
1- Most important of all: As long as there is no money involved, my art is bound by no contract at all and I have all the rights to accept or decline a request, as well as do it whichever way I believe is best. And I do not have to give any reasons for my decisions.
2- I specialize in drawings and animations of non-human characters, more particularily anthro art. That means that humans and similar characters are not on my list. This includes elves, gnomes, dwarves, ogres, orcs, trolls and any other creature that looks like a human.
2-A) I also don't like to draw weird alien creatures or certain animals, such as:
-bovines (cows and other variations)
-pig-like creatures
-Elephants
-Hippopotamus
-Whales
2-B) Dragons are complicated! However, I still draw them sometimes
3- I prefer to make art for people who act mature and care a bit for the presentation of their words (For if you didn't understand: Good grammar and spelling). I do not like people who are constantly asking, or people who use very bad spelling in their comments or notes. I do not like excess of abbreviations, emoticons, slang terms or punctuation marks.
4- Now I do not require a note in order to do art for someone, but it will be easier for me to organize my work by using notes. Also, by using notes, such a request could remain private if necessary
5- For every piece of art requested, I will reveal the name of the one who asked me for it unless I am explicitly told not to. Which is one reason why notes are a better choice.
My obligations:
1- I have no right to use any original character without permission of the creator. If any of my work contains copyrighted content, I will remove it if the owner of the character asks me to.
2- I will not give any personal information of any person who gives it to me. This includes - but is not limited to - real name, location, e-mail address and telephone number.
About expansion art:
Expansion seems to be very popular, but there are a lot of characters - or things - that I will not put into an expansion animation or picture. I can't say them all because I don't even know them all, but I will put a few general ideas:
Characters:
1- Male characters: I know there are other types of expansions other than pregnancy. But I don't enjoy making expansions of male characters, so I won't be doing those.
2- Underage characters: If a character has a defined age and is less than 18 years old, I will not do it.
3- Repeated characters: I won't take requests that involve making an expansion of a character I've already done before, this doesn't apply if I have represented the same character in another form or situation.
4- Sonic characters: I won't do any more characters belonging to the Sonic games, TV shows or comics. I don't want to. Fan characters are not included in this list, they have nothing to do with Sonic. I get a lot of people asking for Sonic fan characters, though. It gets repetitive, so maybe you should try asking for something else.
5- My main characters: Valentine and Liviana.
6- Characters I don't like or I don't find suitable for expansion: I can't say all of them, but there are many individual characters that, for some reason or another, I don't want to draw. I can't make a list, so you'll just have to ask to find out.
Other things:
7- Birth: I know I make pregnancy animations. But I will not add birth to them, I don't like to see it.
8- Weight Gain: I don't like to see characters geting fatter, it makes them look uglier to me.
9- Full spherical inflations or similar: I don't like turning the characters into a big balls or making their limbs sink into their body.
10- Butt expansions: I just don't like them.
Rules for commissions:
If I am doing commissions and you ask for one, there's another rule.
I cannot do a commission involving any character that has a copyright over it. This include all videogame characters, movie characters, cartoon characters, book characters... Well, everything that you didn't make yourself.
The reason is: I am not allowed to make profit out of another person's character without their written permission.
FAQ
If I had requested something in the past and it was accepted, am I now allowed to ask for more art?
Yes, but I cannot guarantee that I will do it. It will depend on whether I feel like doing it and whether I think your request has enough priority.
Can you send me a note when you're taking requests again?
No, too many people ask me to send them notes, and it would take me too long to do that. If you want to know when I can take requests, just read my journal.
If there's still something you need to know, just send me a note.
Some specific characters I will not use for expansion art:
(Characters that have been requested repeatedly)
-Rouge the bat
-Lugia
-Nidoqueen
-Blastoise
-Miltank
-Pikachu
-Carmelita fox
-
-Lola Bunny (Looney tunes)
-Zoroark
-Anything from Undertale.

AI is Already Dead
Before you correct me: No, AI is not dead right this second, but its future has been sealed. I got most of the information for this journal from Ed Zitron. Links at the bottom. Reminding you what AI is First of all, it is critically important to get this out of the way: When I say AI, I mean the current generation of Large Language Models (LLM) and Generative Neural Networks: GPT, Google Gemini, Stable Diffusion and Dall-E. I'll be calling them LLMs from now on. If you're going to tell me "AI" is doing cool and valuable stuff, make sure you aren't lumping those LLMs in with actually useful AI technologies, like analytical neural networks or heuristic search trees. AI works well when used in the right place, time and way. With that out of the way, let's get to killing the AI. Hallucinations First of all, we can't ignore the obvious problem with these machines: The LLMs make mistakes. Image generators keep failing to count how many fingers a hand has, or how hair works. Text generators
The story of Google and the Third Party Cookies
I'd love to make this into an interesting story, but I'm not a writer, so I'll just put it straight. So... Third party cookies Cookies are bits of data your browser keeps so that websites can remember what you did while you were on them. Then web developers figured out they could read cookies from other websites if the other sites gave them the right permissions. That's why you can log into Google, then watch Youtube videos on the same account without having to log in again. Then companies figured out a cool new way to use third party cookies: What if large advertising platforms could convince a whole bunch of different websites to use the same cookie everywhere? They could just follow users from one site to another and have a near complete map of each person's browsing history. This gave them the ability to understand a person's interests and daily habits better than most of their own friends did. The decline Unsurprisingly, some governments determined that this was bad, so some
A fun game to play with AI
There's a way you can attack text-to-image generative neural networks in the long run without resorting to using Glaze as a shield and Nightshade as a sword. (By the way, feel free to use Glaze and Nightshade to protect your artwork, if you haven't heard of them yet) If you normally draw highly detailed artwork, make a few (maybe one in every five or ten pictures) with the usual subtle mistakes you'd expect to find in some of the lower quality AI images: deformations in eyes or fingers, strands of hair with no obvious beginning or end, smears or smudges in certain corners, cloth folds on materials that should be pretty rigid... or make up some new minor mistakes of your own, as long as they're barely noticeable at a glance. Mark the images as available for AI training (Or don't. Everyone ignores the label anyways) and don't tell anyone you made them that way. If someone ever makes detection algorithms for Glaze, Nightshade or AI images, your pictures will bypass all of them and get
Doom the Wolf's Unified License
I have decided to create a new license for use of my work and characters. I posted the official version on my website (https://www.doom-the-wolf.com/license), but I'm putting it here so that the license might outlive the website. The old licenses are the following: Old Character License: https://www.deviantart.com/doom-the-wolf/journal/All-Characters-Open-609086031 Old Copyright License: https://www.deviantart.com/doom-the-wolf/journal/Open-access-to-all-of-my-art-770427625 Everything that follows this sentence is the license. Disclaimer This is not a legal document. This license may resemble a legal document but is not written in legalese and will probably not hold up in a court of law. However, I reserve the right to pursue legal action if I believe the license has been violated. I'm just trying to give as many freedoms to my viewers as possible without giving up my ability to prevent use of my works in ways that I consider highly unethical. This document has no loopholes.
