Description

Just in case you haven't been watching *Barn-flakes and still haven't checked out his deviation, here's the game. You can download the executable file here: ( www.mediafire.com/download/xgc… ).

About the game
This is Amber's Journey 3. A platforming action game about a kangaroo who gets lost and has to find her way back. Made by *Barn-flakes, ~dp360 and *Doom-the-wolf. As you go through the game, you will acquire new abilities, some of them involving inflation, that will allow you to get through future stages and even get through previous stages faster. I tried to make this game interesting from the beginning to the end. The game has 3 save files, but allows for manual saving using codes. Please, keep a copy of your save files. The Flash save files are easy deleted by browsers. Also, don't post save file codes here.

** About the project **
******************

I started this project in the middle of December and tried to get most of it done by February. Between February and June, I had to take a break. Then I continued to work on it between June and now. Since June, this project has been a horror to go through. During the summer I was about to quit several times over for many reasons. Partly because the content was not being created fast enough, and the physics continued to have glitches all the way until the last day (And still has a few).

Enemies
I ended up having to create the enemies myself in the last few days, so forgive me for their poor designs, the lack of variety and inconsistent pattern. We didn't have time to refine that area.

Stage design
*Barn-flakes was in charge of designing the stages and all the bitmaps for them. That's a lot of work. He's the best stage designer I know and has worked with me on every game since the first one. The only problem is that he designs his stages according to the difficulty standards of the old 8-bit and 16-bit games: What I could call "Difficulty by bad luck". A method of adding difficulty by making many enemies and hazards almost unavoidable, forcing the player to collect HP powerups in order to have enough energy to survive the stages. I tried to get him to design the stages based on reflexes and skill instead.

The story
The story of the game is very simple because I'm terrible at writing stories and I trust nobody to write stories for my characters. So I want you to focus on the gameplay, which I worked hard on to make sure is was fluid and dynamic.
